Chirp IoT coverage
Chirp is a decentralized IoT/LoRaWAN network. Run a Blackbird gateway to provide wireless coverage and earn CHIRP — similar to Helium IoT, with no density penalty.
How Chirp earning works
You run a Blackbird gateway (LoRa 2.4GHz + Sub-GHz LoRaWAN, 14 protocols) with an outdoor antenna — roof for houses, balcony/window for apartments. Keepers earn CHIRP for keeping the gateway online, verified and at its registered location, and for validating/transferring data. Notably, Chirp has seniority protection: new gateways nearby don't cut your reward (the opposite of Helium/GEODNET density penalties).
Honest caveat: Chirp does not publish a per-gateway CHIRP/day rate, and the widely-quoted "~$11/day" is a vendor estimate (optimistic for LoRaWAN IoT). The CHIRP token is live on Sui— peaq is a connectivity partner, not the token's chain. So the daily rate here is your assumption, and emissions decrease every year.
