Liquid Machines
Estimate the investor ROI of co-owning a tokenized, revenue-generating machine on peaq — honestly, with risk-adjusted ranges, not marketing numbers.
What are Liquid Machines?
peaqOS V1 turns physical machines and robots into on-chain financial assets across three layers. Activate gives a machine a decentralized identity (peaqID), an omnichain wallet, and a Machine NFT. Qualify assigns a Machine Credit Rating (MCR)— a Moody's-style grade from AAA to NR based on the machine's revenue, uptime and a trust multiplier that climbs as reporting moves from self-reported to on-chain-verified to hardware-signed.
Liquid Machines is the tokenization layer: a Machine NFT is placed in a vault and fractionalized via ERC-3643, the permissioned standard for regulated real-world assets. That lets a community co-own the machine and receive its revenue on-chain — financed through Initial Machine Offerings (IMOs). Because transfers are restricted to KYC-verified participants, these are regulated instruments, not open meme tokens.
Crucially, peaq does notpublish the revenue split between holders and operators, protocol fees, lock-ups, or the exact MCR formula. So this calculator does not pretend to derive a machine's economics. Instead it models yourreturn from a yield assumption you choose, then discounts it by the machine's credit rating — and shows you, plainly, what isn't modeled.
Real reference · DualMint robo-farm
The world's first tokenized robo-farm — a semi-autonomous vertical farm in Hong Kong built by KanayaAI, tokenized by DualMint — is the one concrete case. It has ~200 co-owners and a co-founder cited a yield of "approximately 20% APY". Treat that as a single, projected data point (go-live Q4 2025), not a guarantee or a network average. DualMint has activated ~205 machines across operators in total.
Sources (verified 2026-05-21): meet peaqOS, Machine RWA Framework, tokenized robo-farm. The yield scenarios, MCR trust-discount and ranges are DePINly heuristics for planning — not peaq formulas. Liquid Machines investing is experimental and high-risk; this is not financial advice.
