Private Key

A secret cryptographic value that grants full control over a blockchain wallet and all assets associated with it — never to be shared.

In DePIN, a private key controls the wallet that receives hardware rewards. Loss or theft of the private key means permanent loss of access to those rewards. Best practice: store private keys in a hardware wallet and keep encrypted backups in multiple secure locations.
