Staking

Validator

A node that participates in a network's consensus mechanism, validates transactions or proofs, and earns a share of block rewards in return.

In DePIN networks, validators often serve a dual role: they validate hardware node proofs (confirming that coverage/compute/storage was genuinely provided) and participate in blockchain consensus. Running a validator typically requires staking a minimum token amount as collateral.
